SOMERSWORTH - A coordinated effort to eradicate drug trafficking in the Greater Rochester area resulted in the arrests of 18 area residents on Wednesday following the execution of a search warrant at a Somersworth residence.
The effort was conducted by members of The Somersworth, Rochester and Dover Police departments as well as the Strafford and Rockingham Sheriff's offices and targeted local distribution of heroin/fentanyl and crystal meth in The Tri-City area.
As part of this operation, officers executed a search warrant at 16 Union St., in Somersworth. During the search warrant, officers seized several grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, and approximately $5.800.00 in cash.

Theriault was arrested at Berlin State Prison. He refused bail and was video arraigned in Strafford County Superior Court on Thursday.

Somersworth Police were also assisted by information from the New England State Police Information Network (NESPIN), Stewart's Ambulance, and NH State Police.
