18 picked up on drug, other charges after probe that ended with Somersworth raid

SOMERSWORTH - A coordinated effort to eradicate drug trafficking in the Greater Rochester area resulted in the arrests of 18 area residents on Wednesday following the execution of a search warrant at a Somersworth residence.

The effort was conducted by members of The Somersworth, Rochester and Dover Police departments as well as the Strafford and Rockingham Sheriff's offices and targeted local distribution of heroin/fentanyl and crystal meth in The Tri-City area.

As part of this operation, officers executed a search warrant at 16 Union St., in Somersworth. During the search warrant, officers seized several grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, and approximately $5.800.00 in cash.

Those arrested included:

Corey J. Theriault, 31

NH State Prison/Berlin

Berlin, NH

Charge: Sale of a Controlled Drug (Fentanyl)

Theriault was arrested at Berlin State Prison. He refused bail and was video arraigned in Strafford County Superior Court on Thursday.

Jack P. Haycock, 24

Strafford County House of Corrections

Dover, NH

Charge: Sale of a Controlled Drug (Fentanyl)

Haycock was arrested at the Strafford County House of Corrections. He refused bail and was arraigned on Thursday.

Michael W. Harper, 33

Somersworth, NH

Charge: Possession of Controlled Drug (Suboxone)

Harper was arrested at 16 Union Street, Somersworth, NH. He was released on Personal Recognizance and is to be arraigned next month.

William John Kimball, 37

Kimball was arrested at 16 Union Street, Somersworth, NH. He was held on $1,000 cash bail and was transported to Strafford County House of Corrections for arraignment.

Brito was arrested at 16 Union Street, Somersworth, NH and held on $5,000 cash bail. He was transported to Strafford County House of Corrections with a Thursday arraignment.

Ward was arrested at the Hi-Vu Motel for Capias issued out of Strafford County Superior Court for Absconding from Drug Court Supervision. He was transported to Strafford County House of Corrections for arraignment on Thursday.

Joshua Morton, 36

Charge: Arrest on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Operating and Suspension and a Capias issued out of Strafford County Superior Court for Child Support. He was held for arraignment January 23, 2020.

Morton was arrested at the Riviera Motel, Rochester, NH. He was held pending a Thursday arraignment.

Cory Morton, 37

Charge: Arrest on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Stalking Charge out of Rochester District Court.

Morton was arrested at 141 Flagg Road, Gonic, NH. He was released on Personal Recognizance. His court date is set for next month.

Daniel G. Murphy, 39

Charge: Out of Town Warrant for NH State Police

Murphy was arrested at 71 Indigo Hill Road, Somersworth, NH. Bail was set at preventative detention. He was transported to Strafford County House of Corrections pending a Thursday arraignment date.

Somersworth Police were also assisted by information from the New England State Police Information Network (NESPIN), Stewart's Ambulance, and NH State Police.

The investigation remains active and more arrests are anticipated.
